I hear it time and again that God is one, which is indisputable. I am also told since all paths lead to the same God, hence it doesn’t matter which worldview one follows. This statement is hard for me to come to terms with.

Look for yourself how different religions profess disparate ways to attain salvation.

– Atheists believe there is no God, hence salvation is not in their dictionary.

– Baha’i believes a person’s soul continues its journey until it comes to a final resting point.

– Buddhists believe in to follow Eightfold Path to attain salvation.

– Christians believe that man must rely on grace of God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to be in Heaven.

– Hindus believe that salvation is reached when an adherent is freed from cycle of reincarnation.

– Muslims believe that salvation could be attained by adhering to Five Pillars.

– Sikhs believe that salvation comes by living an honest life, and by meditating on the Almighty.

From above mentioned facts it is evident that no two paths are alike.

My dilemma is when God has created everyone, then why does HE ask one group to go through unaccountable number of rebirths, whereas HE tells other group to trust on Jesus Christ only, and do nothing.

If all the paths lead to the same God, how could HE, who is just, be unfair with HIS own children? Why would HE make one to strive harder for salvation while HE tells to follow the easiest path to others?

Also I cannot wrap my head around that the cores of our hearts know what is true and what is not, yet we love to foster a lie. We do not teach our children to tell a lie, why we believe, and also defend a lie?
