The world is facing intractable problems

The world is facing intractable problems that no amount of social, political, economic or legal framework can solve. Our leaders and by that I’m specifically referring to the west fail to realise that this is a spiritual problem rather than one that can be fixed through worldly responses.

For those that take the Bible seriously they will understand that God always warns before He judges. If we take the west, as led by the U.S we can then begin to understand, to a point, what is transpiring. American history is fascinating but due to our secular obsession we only get part of the story. What many fail to understand is that in New York at ground zero the first U.S President George Washington and the founding fathers led a prayer service where they dedicated the newly established country to the greater glory of God. Washington had basically taken the words of King Solomon thousands of years earlier where he had dedicated Israel to God. Incidentally, when 9/11 occurred and everything was destroyed the only building that remained standing at ground zero was that small church where Washington had led the prayer service.

As a result, America has been by far the most blessed and protected nation ever in the history of entire human history. However, if a country is going to be so blessed by God and Jesus then it needs to remember to honour them accordingly. Just like ancient Israel when it turned its back on God He allowed its enemies to rise up as a warning for disobedience so too is God slowly peeling back His protective hand from the U.S. We are seeing the results with social and criminal gun violence, terrorism, a sluggish economy and an increase in natural disasters.

Finally to Western Europe because it too was blessed by God and Jesus and the Paris terrorist attacks were a warning to come back to Christ. How often in the past had the blessed virgin Mary appeared to seers for Europe to return to Christ or bear the consequences. When her warnings went unanswered she accurately predicted famines and the rise of Napoleon not to mention WWI and WWII.
